As your business has ideas, the basic top 10 listings can do a lot to market your business online. When you share top ideas, especially when you are part of a list, you will appear in the search for other parts of the list. You are on the list, so they will find you too.
When I started building my business, he wrote nothing but to write down any top 10 lists he could think of. His lists have guided the top ten of his favorites he writes and they are usually the things that interest him. I will never forget my favorites on my lists. He called it the Top 10 Hotdog Stands in Denver. I remember driving one afternoon from the meeting, hungry, tired, and bored because the meeting did not take place specifically, and there it hung on the sidewalk, a sign saying “Custers Hot Dogs”. I never went to this place, but I love hot dogs, so I read the article. I remembered that Custer was 3rd on his list, so I pulled inside and parked.
This is the best hot dog I can remember. I went back to my computer, looked at her website and started searching for other hot dog stands. Wow! They are some amazing hot dogs. And, even though their website has been around for about five years, I've come back with a lot of hot dogs. If I was in the neighborhood, I would still stop at those hot dog stands. This is good marketing!
